For you my children

No matter how far you are,
I will always be very near.
Even if you whisper quietly,
I will always be able to hear.

Whenever you need me,
I will answer your call
And catch you on my wings,
if you should begin to fall.

When you are troubled,
and filled with despair
I'll guide you to the light,
with the power of a prayer.

I will be your warm shelter,
in life's unpredictable storms
Your needle and thread,
if your heart has been torn.

A shoulder for you to cry on,
when your tears need to flow.
The loving and caring heart,
your heart needs me to show.

Your giver of new hope,
when all your faith has gone
The strength that you will need,
if it's hard for you to be strong.

A lighthouse to guide you,
when you have lost your way
The arms holding you close,
whey your thoughts go astray.

For I am forever your Angel;
guardian of all your life brings,
Ready for whenever you call me,
to wrap you safely in my wings.

There are no words ...what can I say?
At last her sweet soul winged its way
To peace and freedom in the sky
Where never again will she suffer or cry.
It's all part of God's great plan ...
Which remains a mystery to man.
We cannot understand His ways
Nor can we count our earthly days.

But who are we to question and doubt?
God knoweth well what He's about;
He knew she longed to "go to sleep"
Where only angels, a vigil keep.

The pain of living grew too great
No longer could she stay and wait;
She did not want to leave you, dear,
But she had finished her work down here.

So she closed her eyes and when she awoke,
These are the words the Master spoke ...
"Welcome, dear child, you are Home at last,
And now the burden of living is past."

"There's work for you in My Kingdom, dear
And you are needed and wanted here."
So weep not, she has just gone on ahead,
Don't think of her as being dead.

She's out of sight for a little while,
And you'll miss her touch and her little smile,
But you know she is safe in the home above
Where there is nothing but Peace and Love.

And, surely, you would not deny her peace ...
And you're glad that she has found release.
Think of her there as a soul that is free,
And Home at last, where she wanted to be.

A life so full of beauty
A life so full of hope
Taken from my arms
Now nothing left to hold

In my heart there is a hole
Impossible to fill
Still looking for all the answers
And needing all your will

Taken to a place
Too far for me to travel
I would gladly walk a million miles
Barefoot upon the gravel

Just to see your face again
Just to feel your hand
Just to know that you are o.k
And try to understand

The reasons why, I may never know
A lesson today in letting go
I'll take with me the memories
Of a life that was so bright

I will look into the heavens
And see your shining light
Knowing that someday
We will be together again
Taking your love with me
Will keep me strong to the end

Memories
Memories are heartbeats
sounding through the years
echoes never fading
of our smiles and our tears
moments that are captured
sometimes unaware
pictured in an album
or a lock of hair

Images that linger
deep within the mind
bit of verse we cherished
once upon a time
through the musty hallways
of the days we knew
ever comes the vision
beautiful and true

Memories are roses
blooming evermore
full of fragrant sweetness
never known before
life must have a meaning
goals for which to strive
memories are lights that burn
to keep the heart alive

To Nan
, I thought this day would never come,
You were my Hero and you were my mother,
You provided your protection and your guidance,
Not only to me but to so many others,

You always did the best that you could
And you always gave the best,
We will always remember your words,
For we were the ones truly blessed.

We will remember the times you made us laugh,
And the times you made us cry,
We will remember how you lived,
And the look of your caring eyes.

I will miss the touch of your soft hands
And the way they healed my heart,
I will remember your beautiful smile,
And your sense of humor, was a world apart.

We will miss the sound of your voice,
And the directions you always gave,
You'd tell us to always be strong,
And you'd tell us to always to behave,

I will miss the stories you would share,
And the long talks at your kitchen table,
I will miss the happiness you showed,
With every new grandchild you cradled.

Nan, You will be missed,
But in our hearts you will forever live,
In our time of sorrow and pain,
Memories of your strength we will now relive,

Our hearts may be heavy
And we may shed some tears,
But our spirit rejoices, for you are with God
And now you have nothing to fear,

No more worries, no more sorrows,
No more hurt and no more pain,
In the kingdom of Heaven you now stand,
Our love for you will forever remain.

To our mother, to our sister, to our auntie,
To our friend, and to our dear loved one,
We thank you for your time, for your love, for your lessons,
For your kindness, or your prayers. Now! your job is done.

We LOVE YOU!!!

There's a new world somewhere they call the promised land.
And I'll be there someday, if you will hold my hand.
I still need you there beside me no matter what I do
For I know I'll never find another you.

There is always someone for each of us they say
And you'll be my someone forever and a day.
I could search the whole world over until my life is through
but I know I'll never find another you.

It's a long, long journey so stay by my side.
When I walk through the storm, you'll be my guide.

If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small;
I could lose it all tomorrow and never mind at all.
But if I should lose your love, Dear, I don't know what I'd do,
For I know I'll never find another you.

Dream... Dreamers... Dream

~♥x♥~* ~♥x♥~* ~♥x♥~* ~♥x♥~* ~♥x♥~ *~♥x♥~

A loving angel came to me in dreams.
She showed me life's not always what it seems
And brought me to a place where sweet dreams live.
She gave to me a gift that I now give . . .
A dreamer's dream.

She whispered, "Take my hand and I will lead you through
A place where only sweet dreams can come true.
Close your eyes and open up your heart,
For then this flight of dreams so sweet can start.
Dream, Dreamer, Dream."

She brought me through the darkness to the Light
Where colors wrapped around me, such delight,
A patchwork quilt of beauty without seams
Each color was a rainbow full of dreams,
Dreamer's dreams.

She led me through a hallway of pure sound
With doors flung open widely all around.
And from each room a song would gently play,
I wished with all my heart that I could stay
In this dreamer's dream.

But we drifted in the fragrance of the breeze
To savor all the flowers and the trees.
We tasted all of life that we could see
And felt it flow as one in harmony...
We dreamed this dreamer's dream.

Then my angel turned her eyes to me and said,
"You are the Keeper of these Dreams inside your head.
Find sweet dreamers who would dream of Love and Light,
These dreams will lead them safely through the night.
Help these dreamers dream."

And so I am the Keeper of this Dream, it's true,
But I offer all my dreams to each of you.
May their loving sweetness visit you each night
And fill your soul with Love and Warmth and Light.
Dream, Dreamers, Dream!

THIS LITTLE CANDLE

I lit a candle tonight, in honor of you
Remembering your life, and all the times we'd been through.
Such a small little light the candle made
Until I realized how much in darkness it lit the way.
All the tears I've cried in all my grief and pain
What a garden they grew, watered with human rain.
I sometimes can't see beyond the moment, in hopeless despair.
But then your memory sustains me, in heartaches repair.
I can wait for the tomorrow, when my sorrows ease
Until then I'll light this candle, and let my memories run free.
